THE WRITER: Pete Mesling lives in Seattle, Washington. He’s an affiliate member of the HWA and a graduate of the Borderlands Press Writers Bootcamp. Horror luminary Mort Castle has said of Pete’s work, “Nicely surreal and quite Kafka … This is impressive.” Thomas F. Monteleone, on the other hand, has gone only so far as to say, “This is bizarre stuff.” Pete has sold fiction to such publications as Doorways, Black Ink Horror, and two of the Potter’s Field anthologies. THE ARTIST: Brian Beardsley has lived in Seattle, Washington, with his wife Mary and her two sons for what seems like an eternity. He’s been a fanboy ever since he held his first comic at the age of eight. Brian has written and inked two issues of a solo project called Crossover and contributed to such independents as Short Stack for Angry Gnome Comics. He has also worked on a short run of promotional comics called Galzilla for a local roller derby team, and he regularly slings ink for a couple of online horror zines.
